Learning Resource Centre

The LRC is open to students before school and break times.

There are over 7,000 books to choose from and computers to complete your homework, come and take a look!

Books can be borrowed for up to two  weeks and pupils can borrow a maximum of three at a time.

If you are interested in becoming an LRC Ambassador or a Dixonian Journalist, please come and see Ms Dewell in the LRC.

From September 2024, year 7 tutor groups will be running form library book boxes.

Each form group will receive a box of specially selected books for pupils to borrow for two weeks.

Pupils will log their reading progress in a Reading Log.

Throughout the year, as pupils reach certain milestones, their achievements will be recognised.

We can’t wait to get started!
